Brazil attacker Hulk has found a new club in his native Brazil after leaving the Chinese Super League. Hulk became a free agent when he left Shanghai SIPGof China. Atletico Mineiro has made the decision to sign the Brazil attacker on a free transfer.


The ex-Brazilian national team player has signed a two-year deal at the club in Brazil and will join them at the end of the Brazilian Championship in February. Ex-Chilean national team manager Jorge Sampaoli is the Atletico Mineiro manager these days and the Argentine tactician is a big fan of Hulk. Jorge Sampaoli has played a big part in the signing of the 34-year-old Brazil attacker.
Hulk has returned to Brazil after almost two decades playing for clubs outside Brazil. The Brazil attacker played twice for Vitoria at the start of his professional football career before he left for the Asian nation of Japan. Hulk played for four different clubs in Japan before the Brazil player signed for Portuguese giants FC Porto. The Brazilian attacker enjoyed the most productive spell of his football careerat FC Porto. Hulk represented FC Porto from 2008 to 2012 and he won four straight league titles with the club. The Brazil attacker also won the 2011 Europa League title at FC Porto before moving to Russia to play for Zenit St. Petersburg.
Brazilian international Hulk continued towin titles in his football career. Upon moving to Zenit St. Petersburg, the Brazil won the league title with the club. Hulk won three titles during his time with the reigning Russian champions. He was also part of the Brazil squad to the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in his native Brazil. Hulk was part of the Brazil squad that was eliminatedin the semi-finals via a 7-1 defeat to eventual champions Germany. He moved to China in 2016 and went on to win two more titles.
