SCOLARI OPTIMISTIC

The man who is responsible on deciding which players will be representing Brazil for the 2014 World Cup as well as selecting which formation would be better depending on the teams they have to face, Felipe Scolari is optimistic that his team will take home the World Cup title.

"We are playing at home, we have the fans on our side and a team which is competitive and has a lot of quality. We have everything that allows us to be the best team. That's why I fully trust that we can make it to the final and be the champion." Scolari said.

KAKA FUTURE UNSURE

The future of Brazilian midfielder Kaka in the national team squad has been speculated a lot due to the age and injury concerns of the midfielder.

However, it seems that manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is more concerned about his form rather than other attributes. He was recently present at the San Siro in order to witness Kaka playing in the Milan derby. AC Milan have been very poor this season and it was not surprising that they did not get a positive result in a match. They lost 1-0 and they have slipped further lower in the table.

SCOLARI WANTS PREM RETURN

Former Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has revealed that he may one day want to come back to the Premier league and even with Chelsea if the opportunity comes about.

Scolari is currently the manager of Brazil, which is one of the prestigious jobs in the world. Brazil have automatically qualified for the upcoming World Cup 2014 as the hosts of the tournament. Scolari will have a lot of pressure on his hands in order to deliver the trophy, which he has also won with Brazil in 2002.

UNIQUE SITUATION

Brazil have a unique situation whereby they have a lot of quality outfield players, but the goalkeeping situation is quite alarming.

National team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has only a couple of goalkeepers to choose from ahead of the World Cup 2014. One of them is QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who used to play for Inter Milan a few seasons ago. It was not long ago that he won the best goalkeeper in the world award, but he has not been in the best of shape in recent times.

CONFEDERATIONS CUP SUCCESS

After taking over from Mano Menezes only a few months ago, Luiz Felipe Scolari managed to get the Brazilian national team to Confederations cup success.

After the tournament, there has been several talk about the future squads. Many have already started predicting the squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Brazil. Since the Confederations cup was the last tournament to have competitive matches for Brazil before the World Cup, many are predicting that Scolari will not be making huge changes to the squad.

IS PAULINHO A GOOD BUY?

TEAM IS STAGNATING

Former Brazil manager Mano Menezes has said that the team has stagnated following the arrival of Luiz Felipe Scolari for his second spell in charge of the team. After a run of poor results, it looked like Menezes was getting the team to function extremely well.

SCOLARI UPBEAT

Brazilian national team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari choose to remain upbeat after the 1-1 draw with Russia in a friendly match that left him searching for his first win as the Brazil manager after three matches.

This is his second spell at the helm of the Brazilian national team, but he is finding it harder to deal with the problems this time around. In his first spell at the manager, Scolari managed to guide Brazil to World Cup success in Japan. Brazil came into the encounter on the back of a defeat against England and a draw against Brazil in the previous matches.
