Brazil have managed to go some way towards ending the memories of a painful World Cup 2014 by winning six matches in succession.
However, manager Dunga reckons that the national team is still in a period of transition and that fans need to be warned about it. Dunga has gone against the philosophy of bringing older players to the national team. The likes of Kaka and Robinho have been recalled to recent squads, but it is highly unlikely that the former AC Milan stars will be featuring at the upcoming Copa America.

After a disastrous World Cup campaign, many questions will be asked of Brazil in the coming months. New coach Dunga has a major job on his hands to rebuild the confidence of the national team. He was recently appointed as the successor to Luiz Felipe Scolari, thus marking a return to the team that sacked him after the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Unlike Scolari, Dunga failed to get the time past the quarter-finals of the World Cup. Despite this, many see him as someone capable of getting Brazil back to its feet due to the solid style of football that he likes to play.

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has named his 23 man squad for the World Cup 2014 and it already features a number of surprising omissions. Former World Cup winner Kaka has not been included in the squad, as the former Chelsea manager has gone for current form rather than experience or youth. Further, Scolari has a lot of options in the attacking midfield area, which deemed Kaka surplus to requirements. Ronaldinho, who was also not expected to feature in the squad, also appears to have played his last match.

Brazil’s national team manager Luis Felipe Scolari said that the performance of Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho impressed him a lot.
The 30-year-old has been in the wilderness with regard to the Brazil national team. It has largely been because he has been playing in the Ukrainian league for several years. However, he has returned to the high-profile English Premier league with Manchester City in the summer. He was signed for £ 30 million by the Premier league outfit, who have been using him consistently as the defensive partner for Yaya Touré.
