Brazil national team boss Dunga has criticised the attitude of Real Madrid defender Marcelo, who has favoured playing for his club Real Madrid rather than the national team.
During the recent World Cup 2018 qualifying games against Uruguay and Paraguay, Marcelo was unavailable for selection. However, he was available for Real Madrid and it has led to a lot of debate about the future of the defender at international level. It has also started a war of words between the two camps with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane claiming that Brazil were a lot of lies.

Brazil were involved in a 2-2 draw with Uruguay in the latest World Cup qualifying match.
The result disappointed manager Dunga especially given that his team were having a comfortable 2-0 lead after just 27 minutes. Edinson Cavani pulled one back for Uruguay at 31st minute and this seemed to give the away team a lot of hope that they can get something out of the game. After the half-time break, former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez once again proved his impeccable value to the Uruguay team by scoring a second-half equaliser upon his return to international action.

Brazil’s national team manager Dunga believes that it is time for Neymar to be crowned as the FIFA Ballon d’Or award winner.
The title has been shared between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the past seven seasons. However, both these players do not enjoy the same kind of supremacy that they did during this period. Neymar has emerged as a real alternative to the title after having performed well in the last 12 months. The Brazilian striker has especially been more prolific in the second half of 2015. This has seen him make it into the three-man shortlist for the award.

Brazil managed Dunga believes that the national team’s star striker Neymar is now better than both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The latter have been regarded as the best in the world for quite a while now. They have had the FIFA Ballon d’Or award between each other for several successive seasons now. A major reason for their success has been the ability to stay injury free while also maintaining the goal scoring records. This, however, has been diminished quite significantly this season due to various reasons. Messi has been on the treatment table for a while now.

Brazil manager Dunga says that he is extremely happy with the progress made by PSG winger Lucas Mora, who is fast developing into one of the biggest assets for the national team.
After being brought in from Santos for a huge transfer fee, many expected the youngster to struggle immediately upon moving to a big club like PSG. It has not been the case since Lucas has found enough first-team opportunities to develop his game, while the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cavani has helped him improve his game on a number of situations.
